4–5000 VA, DIN-rail or foot-bracket mount, EN 61558

Control and supply transformers are open-frame or enclosed mains transformers for panel-mounted power distribution, spanning 4 to 5000 VA to cover everything from a single PLC input module to a full control-cabinet supply. They mount either on standard DIN-rail, for compact drop-in installation inside an enclosure, or on foot brackets bolted to a panel or chassis, for larger units where DIN-rail clips are not rated for the mass. Lamination size, winding construction, and terminal type scale with VA rating across the range, from screw terminals on small units to bus-bar or stud terminations on the largest control-cabinet supplies. No sub-series breakdown is published for this family; a unit is specified directly by VA rating, primary and secondary voltage, and mounting style.

Insulation

Insulation and impregnation are specified as air, oven-dried varnish, polyurethane coating, or epoxy potting, selected to the unit's environmental exposure and required creepage and clearance.
